By creating an account or using CulinaryConductor (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated as an individual project based in New Jersey, United States. Contact: diglej@gmail.com.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you are between 13 and 17, you may only use the Service with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at diglej@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or pose a security risk.
Free plan. Includes up to 2 simultaneous active recipes, built-in recipes, manual recipe creation, Clean-As-You-Go, kitchen bottleneck detection, the Guest-is-Late button, and 1 Magic Import per week.
Pro plan. $3.99 USD per month, billed monthly through Stripe. Includes unlimited simultaneous recipes, unlimited Magic Imports, multi-device live sync, Offline Bunker Mode, voice-activated steps, Pantry Rescue Generator, and aisle-sorted grocery lists. Features and pricing may change with notice.
Auto-renewal. Pro subscriptions renew automatically each month at $3.99 USD until cancelled. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis.
Cancellation. You may cancel at any time from Settings → Manage Subscription, which opens the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain Pro access until then.
Refunds. Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. We may issue refunds at our discretion for billing errors or extended Service outages. To request a refund, email diglej@gmail.com within 14 days of the charge.
Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe will retry per its standard schedule. If payment cannot be collected, your account will revert to the Free plan and Pro features will be disabled.
Price changes. We will notify you by email at least 30 days before any price change. Continued use after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
The Service uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini API) to power Magic Import and Pantry Rescue features. AI-generated recipes, timelines, ingredient lists, and instructions are provided as-is and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. AI output is not a substitute for professional culinary, nutritional, allergy, or food-safety advice.
You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before cooking. Verify ingredients (especially for allergies), cooking times, temperatures, and food-safety practices independently. We are not liable for any harm resulting from reliance on AI-generated content, including but not limited to allergic reactions, foodborne illness, undercooked food, or property damage.
CulinaryConductor is a meal-coordination tool, not a food-safety authority. Cooking times, temperatures, and techniques shown are general guidance. Always use a food thermometer to verify safe internal temperatures, follow proper hygiene, and consult authoritative sources (e.g., USDA FoodSafety.gov) for safe handling of raw meat, poultry, seafood, and eggs.
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to access other users' accounts or data; (c) reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service; (d) upload malicious code or content that infringes third-party rights; (e) resell or redistribute the Service; (f) use automated systems to create accounts or generate imports; or (g) misuse the AI features to generate harmful, illegal, or deceptive content.
You retain ownership of recipes, notes, and content you create or upload ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your User Content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of your recipes and do not use them to train AI models.
The Service, including its software, design, branding, built-in recipes, and documentation, is owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without written permission. "CulinaryConductor" and associated branding are unregistered trademarks of the operator.
We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided on a best-effort basis and may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to third-party outages (Firebase, Stripe, Vercel, Google Gemini). We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Material reductions to Pro features will be communicated by email with at least 30 days' notice.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, OR UNINTERRUPTED OPERATION. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT RECIPES, TIMELINES, OR AI OUTPUT ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SAFE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, FOODBORNE ILLNESS, ALLERGIC REACTIONS, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, seated in New Jersey, in English. You and we waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action. Notwithstanding the foregoing, either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction in New Jersey to protect intellectual property or confidential information.
30-day right to opt out of arbitration. You may opt out of the arbitration clause by emailing diglej@gmail.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms with the subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out" and your account email.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes your data within 30 days (except as required by law or retained by Stripe for tax/accounting). We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, with notice when feasible. Sections 6–10 and 12–15 survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and/or in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree to the changes, you may cancel your subscription and delete your account before they take effect.
